...two single gay boys met up on an online dating app, like most of us do in the 21st Century. After a series of online chats, they agreed to ffinally meet up for a drink on 8th July 2018. There was an instant connection in the ffirst meeting itself and one drink led to another while they chatted to get to know each other’s lives and the journey they had been on so far.

 

The next few months went by in some random meetings while they both went around their lives and busy work schedules. While still not together, there was a connection that was always there but hard to ffigure out.

 

They reconnected again towards the end of 2019 and it was evident that the spark was still there. Long winter nights catching up for a drink or a hot coffee over interesting conversations helped rekindle the romance. As one of them had a birthday coming up, they decided to go on an impromptu holiday together and landed up in Goa on 8th Feb 2020!

 

As they took their ffirst steps together on the shores of the Arabian Sea and their bare feet touched the soft sand of the Goan beach, one of them whispered "I Love you" into the ears of the other while the sun was setting on the horizon. Before the sun went down, the other one turned around and sealed the deal with a kiss!

 

The rest of the days during that short Goan holiday were a breeze and the best time of their lives yet! Once they returned to Gurgaon, they kept on spending the weekends together and short rendezvous their conflicting work schedules would allow.

 

On one such occasion in March 2020, as they were cuddling up and watching the news together, it was abruptly announced that the country was going into an immediate lockdown in the next few hours due to Covid-19. They instantly decided that in the uncertain future which lay ahead, the only thing certain was their love for each other and that they should stay together to ride this phase. With just a change of clothes and the offfice laptop in his backpack (thankfully!), one of them decided to move into the other’s home and the rest, as they say is History…!!!

 

As you can see, Goa holds a special place in their hearts but the story is not over yet!

 

While they have been travelling a lot post the lockdown and creating beautiful memories, they keep going back to Goa. On one such trip in June 2023, while watching the beautiful sunset on the Ashwem Beach, one of them surprised the other by going down on one knee and proposing with a Platinum Ring! With shrieks of joy and amazement, the proposal was gladly accepted by the lucky one and NAVISH became One!

 

As they celebrate their love and commitment to each other on the same Goan beach on 10th Feb 2024 which they hold so dearly in their hearts in the presence of their family and friends who love and respect their relationship, their story has just begun and they have miles to go and long lasting memories to create as they watch the sunset yet again on the same Ashwem beach!
